Responsibilities

These are all the things we are thinking about. We’re looking for someone who can help us prioritize and do things the right way in the right time frame.

  • Train oneself on Fermyon’s projects (with appropriate help from the rest of the Fermyon team) to become a Subject Matter Expert and keep up-to-date on WebAssembly concepts and technologies
  • Work with customers and potential customers to brainstorm, identify, prioritize, select, create, and produce solutions to fit customer needs
  • When working with customers, handle all logistics and setup of customer working sessions
  • Ensure the solutions created can be leveraged by subsequent clients with a minimum of effort. This will likely include refactoring implementation code, scripting/coding additional elements and writing implementation/production documentation
  • Research/recommend and implement any necessary solution development tools not already in place
  • Participate in building a solutions roadmap
  • Provide regular feedback to the engineering team

Requirements

  • At least two years of hands-on experience developing software with at least 5 years of experience in a field of software development, ideally cloud-native development topics
  • Experience brainstorming, selecting, creating, and producing customer solutions
  • Experience leading customers to workable solutions
  • Experience creating solutions from the ground up, in a new technical area, leveraging subject matter experts
  • Experience creating a roadmap of solutions across multiple commercial sectors for a product
  • Knowledge and experience in WebAssembly
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Agreement to embody the Fermyon values
  • Fluent English speaker

Fermyon Technologies is 100% remote. While we can’t do business in every country, we have broad latitude.
