Role Summary:
The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial operations of a small, tight-knit team while collaborating with leadership to drive financial growth and sustainability. Manage the accounting team and processes including the functions of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management & Planning, Payroll, and General Ledger.
Responsibilities:

Manage the monthly close process.

Manage financial reporting processes, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Manage payroll and billing operations to ensure timely and accurate payments.

Collaborate with leadership on financial planning and strategy to support organizational growth.

Provide financial analysis to drive decision-making and sustainability.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.

Preparing for and organizing the annual external Audit and answering Auditor questions.

Maintain banking relationships.

Perform regular reconciliations of accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.

Stay up-to-date with financial and accounting regulations and ensure the organization's adherence to relevant laws and standards.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered.

3-5 years of accounting or financial experience.

Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and payroll processes.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Experience with NetSuite preferred.
