Tech Support

 

Georgia REALTORS® is seeking a tech-savvy individual to provide technical support to association staff and members. The duties of the role include overseeing all A/V operations as well as providing support at conferences. This individual will also serve as the primary manager of our member database and will assist with the back end of our website as well as other communications platforms.

Georgia REALTORS®, also known as the Georgia Association of REALTORS® is a trade association with approximately 47,000 members across Georgia. Members are engaged in all aspects of real estate including residential sales, property management, and commercial real estate.

 

 

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

 

  • Primary manager of AV (in-house meetings, virtual meetings/trainings, hybrid meetings - Zoom, video, audio (does not apply to regular Zoom committee meetings unless needed and requested)
  • Technical support as needed at Association conferences – available for travel to two conferences each year for 4-6 days each, along with 2-3 day-long events. Other local travel may be necessary as well.
  • Primary website manager (WordPress platform - content updates, maintaining CMS updates and plug-ins, partner ads, formatting, etc)
  • Serve as office lead for association management software (RAMCO) (interfacing with support vendor; training leading to RAMCO certification provided)
  • Provide supplementary IT staff support (laptops, desktops, copiers, printer, including workstation and server updates)
  • Provide technical assistance during meetings/trainings/conferences as needed (Zoom check in, technical support for attendees, apps, etc)
  • Primary liaison to AV support vendor
  • Provides conference prep support (printing posters, name badges, packing)
  • Manage technical aspects of off-site staff office (off-site conferences/ summits/trainings throughout the year)
  • Analyze website and other communications platforms (such as Constant Contact) for beneficial integrations

Secondary Duties

  • Serve as backup for platform functions (Feathr, etc)
  • Manages RETS feeds (including Housing Indicators – serve as contact between vendor (currently ShowingTime) and GAR for technical issues, manages RETS feed acquisition when needed)
  • Manage magazine mailing list
  • Administer / update custom in-house applications as needed:
    • Online Partners in Education application
    • Online Scholarship application
    • Data Automation (ensure all forms on website are electronic or at least fillable PDFs; transition routine processes to electronic formatting)

 

Skills

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Flexibility – ability to support multiple departments and teams
  • Highly proficient in AV infrastructure – operating / troubleshooting / updating conference room technology, projectors, speakers, microphones, digital signage, etc
  • Proficient in logistics and planning
  • Awareness of major video conferencing services (especially Zoom)
  • Basic website administration, including knowledge of top CMS platforms, specifically WordPress
  • Basic technical proficiency:
    • Proficient in MS Windows and Mac OS
    • MS Office
    • Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity – wired and WIFI
  • Basic administration of MS Server 2012-2019
  • Understanding of AMS systems, specifically RAMCO
  • Some knowledge of basic database management a plus – updates, generating reports, etc
