EDUCATION SPECIALIST
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Provides administrative support to the Professional Development Department and is responsible for the administration of the Partners in Education Program for continuing education courses.
REPORTS TO: Director of Professional Development
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for course administration through the Partners in Education Program.
- This includes:
- Processing instructor agreements.
- Handling pre-class correspondence.
- Training members and local board staff to facilitate livestream classes.
- Setting up online registrations and Zoom meetings.
- Assisting members over the phone with questions regarding registration.
- Maintaining Partners in Education Class Files.
- This includes:
- Serves as primary processor of all education programs offered by Georgia REALTORS®.
- Electronically posts continuing education credits after the completion of all education classes online, in-class, virtual, events, and conferences.
- Responsible for Maintaining Partners in Education & Online Partnership Class Files.
- Responsible for conducting facilitator training and filing applications.
- Responsible for inputting Code of Ethics and Continuing Education credits for classes.
- Dispense continuing education certificates when needed.
- Responsible for following the school / course rules of the regulatory body and cooperates in audits.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining instructor evaluations and attendance forms for class.
- Liaison with Accounting to maintain and track Instructor Expense Reports, Sponsor Class Invoices & Payments.
- Monitor and report instructor evaluations.
- Maintain correspondence with students and Class Sponsors.
- Facilitate and Initiate Livestream classes as needed.
- Must be knowledgeable of general continuing education requirements and directing members to the GREC website.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of the GAR By-laws and Policies and Procedures.
- Assists with overflow work, understanding the power of teamwork and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills in collaboration with co-workers to provide excellent service for the members.
- Assists in preparing education materials needed for designation courses, conferences and training.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
- Full time, hourly position
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in customer or member service preferred, be computer literate and able to work independently.
EDUCATION:
- Associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university or 2 years equivalent work experience required.
- Obtain facilitator credentials upon hiring.
