Summary of Position

We are seeking a marketing business development representative who is as enthusiastic, dynamic, and engaging as our brand. This position will report to the VP of Revenue Marketing and support key Global Demand Generation initiatives. The right candidate will be passionate about marketing, sales, and technology, looking for the best way to achieve positive business outcomes by working in a collaborative environment and delivering the project deliverables on time. This role is an ideal launch pad for a career in either marketing or sales.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation and Management: Utilize a variety of outreach techniques – including phone, text, email, and social media – to engage and progress warm leads, while also managing and nurturing a pipeline of hot leads. This involves assessing the potential of each lead and partnering with sales to prioritize outreach efforts.
  • Outbound Calling: Perform daily outbound calls to warm leads to introduce our products/services. These calls should be conducted professionally and enthusiastically, to establish rapport and build interest in our offerings.
  • AI Augmentation: Assist in implementing, monitoring and optimizing AI to help augment our outreach efforts and improve conversions. Bring new AI use cases to the table.
  • Product Knowledge: Gain a comprehensive understanding of our products or services to effectively communicate benefits and features to potential clients. This includes staying updated on any changes or enhancements to our offerings.
  • Customer Needs Assessment: Understand our buyer personas and engage in meaningful conversations with potential clients to understand their needs, challenges, and goals. Use this information to tailor your pitch and demonstrate how our solutions can address their specific requirements.
  • Objection Handling: Skillfully address and overcome potential objections from leads. This requires a combination of product knowledge, persuasion skills, and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Appointment Setting: Successfully convert warm leads to meetings for the sales teams. This involves coordinating schedules and ensuring that potential clients are informed about what to expect in the next steps and our sales team is prepared for meetings.
  • Record Keeping and CRM Management: Diligently record all interactions with leads in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and support sales efforts to do the same. This includes detailed notes on the outcome of calls, next steps, and any specific client preferences or requests.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and report on the outcomes of your outreach efforts, including number of touchpoints, conversion rates, and which messages are resonating. Use this data to refine your strategies and improve performance over time.
  • Collaboration and Feedback: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to share insights from your calls that could inform broader sales strategies and marketing campaigns. Provide feedback on lead quality and suggest improvements to lead generation processes.

Typical Degree & Years of Experience: Requires Bachelor’s degree and less than 2 years of related experience.

 

Base salary: $60,000,

Target incentive: $6,000

Annual bonus: $6,000
