Position Summary 
Neustar Security Services is looking for an Enthusiastic and Driven QA engineer who can help the team grow by bringing in their expertise in improving the quality of our UltraWaf and UltraDDoS product offerings. You must have a strong network security background and possess some automation experience to help with our quality goals.



Responsibilities


Works with Development and Test Teams to understand requirements and deliver frameworks that provide valuable automation related artifacts.


Identifies regression bugs and communicates those to Development and Test Teams.


Works with external vendors to understand expected behavior and communicate issues externally.


Continuously learn new concepts and technologies and share with your team and the greater organization.


Collect, analyze and communicate the test results. The data collected during execution of the tests is analyzed and results are published to the test team along with the engineering manager regarding pass/fail status of the tests. Creates other detailed test reports as required.


Automate test procedures by writing Python programs in an automation framework such as Robot.


Qualifications


BS degree or equivalent, MS degree preferred.


Proficient in documenting test plans and defects related to new features and regressions for a microservices based SaaS offering.


5+ years testing network security products such as WAF, DDoS scrubbers or Firewalls.


4+ years UNIX or Linux experience required.


4+ years with traffic generators and test tools such as Breaking Point, hping, scapy, jMeter.


1+ years of experience working on test automation using frameworks such as Robot.


Familiar with CI/CD pipelines


Familiar with pentest tools such as Metasploit or burp suite.


Familiar with AWS or other public clouds.
