Summary of Position
The Security Operations Canter (SOC) provides DDoS detection and mitigation services for NSS and Customer’s Networks. The SOC also provides all Customer Support capabilities for the UltraDDoS Protect service. UltraDDoS Protect is a strategic service for the Digital Defense and Performance BU. We are seeking an Associate Information Security Engineer to support our ever-growing customer base.
Responsibilities
Assist with complex attacks to refine mitigation strategies
Provision customers on the SP platform.
Interact with Arbor SOC personnel as necessary.
Monitor/mitigate DDoS events against Neustar Security Services (NSS) Properties.
Monitor the ticket queue.
Answer the phone queue for Tier 1 support in DDOS and WAF customers.
Help customers resolve technical issues within the UltraDDoS Protect service (to include WAF).
Mitigate customer DDoS attacks
Qualifications
1+ years of experience and a willingness to learn
College degree preferred but not required
Applicable certifications preferred but not required
Proficient interpersonal communication skills
Flexibility in schedule, we are a 24/7 operation.
