We are seeking an experienced full stack engineer to help us build our electrification platform.
What you’ll do:

Solve problems that no one has been able to solve faced by energy providers, electric vehicle owners, and charging point owners in the transition to electric vehicles.

Own the development of new (or improve existing features) end to end including frontend and backend development, deployment through our CI/CD pipeline and update to our AWS cloud stack if needed.

Improve our data processing pipeline which is processing billions of trips today to make it more scalable and accurate

Under the supervision of our scientist, improve our supervised learning AI model to make it work in different part of the world

Bring our satellite imagery processing ChatGPT prototype into a commercially viable and usable product.

Make critical decisions on application design, architecture, and engineering habits

Be a force multiplier for the rest of the engineering team
What we’re looking for:

5+ years of experience as a full stack engineer

Bachelor’s degree in related field

Our stack is React, TypeScript, Python and PostgreSQL, but we are open to engineers familiar with other stacks

Familiarities with AWS cloud services (or any other cloud providers)

Comfortable in working independently

Open to wearing many hats depending on what needs to be done, and most importantly, ready to roll up the sleeves to solve problems that no one has been able to solve yet.

Ready for the startup adventure which requires a very strong self and purpose driven motivation.

Ability to make strong judgment call decision while navigating ambiguity.

Ability to consistently release high quality deliverables while being independent.

Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer (OPT eligibility acceptable)

This is a full-time position that includes full medical benefits, four weeks paid vacation, equity, and a competitive base salary. Preference to work in the office in Arlington, VA 5 days per week.
