Andrologist

We are looking for an eager and excited new member to join our laboratory team. SpringCreek Fertility is the only full-service fertility center in the Dayton area. We have a great passion not only for the best outcomes for our patients, but our employees as well. We house a lot of services under our roof, and one of the biggest services we offer is a full laboratory for our physicians and patients to utilize. This position serves our patients by providing precise and accurate laboratory results for the purpose infertility assessments and management. You would be responsible for performing both andrology and endocrinology laboratory services in accordance with our policies. Responsibilities:

Perform semen analyses, including sperm count, sperm motility, sperm morphology and viability
Perform routine sperm preps for insemination and semen cryopreservation- maintaining sterile technique throughout
Perform endocrine testing
Work with our current laboratory staff to give best outcomes to our patients
Enter data and results into system for providers and clinical staff to utilize
Utilize general and specialized equipment for testing
Maintain accurate records
Participate in laboratory operations as directed
Other duties as needed by leadership team

Qualifications:

Bachelors of Science in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology

Associates Degree in laboratory science, or medical laboratory technology
Previous experience with micropipetting
Previous experience with serology machines such as Cobas E411
Attention to detail
Ability to make independent judgements based on protocols
Ability to maintain high standards while working on multiple tasks
Ability to communicate to all levels of staff and departments
