This position begins as Part-Time, with the opportunity to transition to Full-Time in February 2026 as our member services programming expands. Job Purpose 

Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club’s Concierge serves as the first point of contact for all members and guests, providing exceptional hospitality and assistance to enhance their overall experience. This role is responsible for warmly welcoming and greeting members and guests, responding to inquiries, coordinating services and amenities, and representing Sharon Heights' commitment to excellence. 

Job Summary (Essential Functions) 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact at the Club’s main entrance and phone line, greeting members and guests in a warm, professional, and courteous manner 

  • Answer and direct incoming calls, field member inquiries, take accurate messages, and ensure prompt follow-up or referral to the appropriate department or team member 

  • Maintain current knowledge of Club activities, dining offerings, events, and services; effectively communicate this information to members and staff 

  • Manage restaurant reservations and support dining operations by updating and printing menus, wine lists, and weekly specials; design and produce menus for private events as needed 

  • Maintain and update the member and team directory, providing login assistance and ensuring accuracy of member information in the database 

  • Support the communication and marketing of Club events by creating directional signage, designing and distributing event flyers, managing event registrations, sending confirmation emails, and assisting with website updates 

  • Assist with holiday food orders, special projects, and administrative or operational needs as assigned 

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area, ensure office supplies (including menu printing materials) are stocked 

  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times, ensuring member needs are anticipated and addressed promptly and courteously 

Qualifications 

  • Education 

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required 

  • Licensure/Certifications 

    • Notary Public license preferred, but not required 

  • Experience 

    • 2-3+ years of office management/administration required 

    • Experience in private clubs, hotels, or guest services preferred 

  • Skills 

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs 

    • Experience using Canva, Adobe, and other creative editing tools 

    • Basic photography and video editing skills 

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

    • Organized, high attention to detail 

    • Creative 

    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment 

    • Outgoing, hospitable, warm, and professional interpersonal skills 

    • Strong customer-service skills 

Work Schedule and Hours 

The Member Services team maintains core operating hours of Tuesday-Sunday 9am-5pm. Regular work schedule to be determined in collaboration with team within core operating hours. May require occasional evening, weekend, or holiday availability based on Club events and business needs. 

Physical Requirements and Work Environment 

Work performed primarily at the Club front desk and office environment. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and use of hands to operate phones, computers, and office equipment. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally (e.g., boxes of print materials or supplies). 

Pay Rate 

This is an hourly position ranging from $25-29 per hour.
