Compensation Range: $220,000+ (Base Salary: $120,000 + OTE Uncapped Commissions)

Job Summary:
As the Federal AI Growth Lead, you will spearhead SUPERWISE’s expansion into the U.S. public sector, with a focus on federal, state, and defense contracts. You will lead strategic initiatives to identify, qualify, and secure AI governance and observability engagements across civilian agencies, the Department of Defense (DoD), intelligence communities, and other government entities. This role requires a deep understanding of the federal procurement process, AI and data transformation initiatives in the public sector, and compliance frameworks that drive adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to close within enterprise and public sector accounts.
- Continue to partner with clients post-sale to support platform adoption, value realization, and long-term success.
- Identify opportunities to address governance, risk, and operational performance challenges using the SUPERWISE platform.
- Understand our technology offering and proactively prospect companies and agencies that would benefit from our Enterprise AI Governance and Operations Platform.
- Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships that align with SUPERWISE’s expansion goals.
- Manage and maintain a healthy pipeline and track performance metrics (HubSpot experience preferred).
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with decision-makers across data, IT, compliance, executive leadership, and government stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure strategic alignment and consistent customer satisfaction.
- Position SUPERWISE’s governance and operations platform as essential infrastructure for safe and strategic AI deployment.
- Deliver customized product demonstrations and proposals in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
- Influence the product roadmap by sharing customer feedback and emerging market needs.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving go-to-market strategies to inform sales tactics.
- Represent SUPERWISE at key client meetings, industry conferences, defense summits, and procurement briefings.
- Drive end-to-end sales and capture strategy across U.S. federal, state, and defense markets.
- Develop and manage pipeline opportunities through channels such as SAM.gov, GSA schedules, SBIR/STTR programs, and IDIQs.
- Build and maintain relationships with contracting officers, system integrators, program managers, and defense primes.
- Guide RFI/RFP responses, teaming agreements, and pricing strategies to win competitive awards.
- Align solutions to federal mandates and frameworks including NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, CMMC, and Zero Trust architecture.
- Partner with internal engineering and compliance teams to ensure alignment with federal standards and readiness for government engagements.
- Leverage existing strategic partnerships and large enterprise networks to accelerate adoption and expand market reach.
Travel:
• Travel may include visits to government sites, industry events, and partner meetings
Qualifications & Skills:
• 6–10+ years of experience in federal sales, capture management, or public sector business development
• Proven track record of closing multimillion-dollar government contracts (DoD, DHS, VA, State Gov)
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts, digital modernization, and mission-critical data systems
• Familiarity with acquisition programs, FAR/DFAR compliance, and government contracting vehicles
• Established network across defense, intelligence, and federal civilian agencies
• Experience working with SI partners, government resellers, or 8(a)/SDVOSB organizations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in technical and proposal settings
• Based in Nashville, with the ability to operate in a hybrid work environment
