Job Summary:

The BOSS AI Lead Data Scientist will play a critical role in shaping the future direction of our data strategy, leveraging their expertise to identify new opportunities and innovative solutions for our business. Advanced analytics and data science methodologies and algorithms will be utilized to develop various forms of machine learning, reinforcement learning, and predictive simulation modeling, which are integral parts of our digital transformation solutions. The BOSS AI Data Scientist will leverage various data science specializations (e.g., optimization, recommendations, natural language processing, computer vision) to develop creative solutions to solve our customers’ problems and enhance their capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning, formatting, and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends.

• Development of visual analytics to facilitate data exploration and dissemination of model output in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.

• Building, training, and implementing various machine learning models across multiple customer solutions.

• Disseminate findings and insights to different stakeholders, such as business leaders, engineers, and other data scientists.

• Identify opportunities for data-driven solutions, and implement new features and functionalities.

• Building automated data pipelines and workflows to handle large amounts of data.

• Provide support to data transformation activities across various systems, data modalities, and customers.  

Travel Requirements:

• Travel required on an as needed basis.

Essential Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on advanced analytics and machine learning.

• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques.

• Strong knowledge of Computer Vision and NLP / Deep Learning.

• Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, BigQuery, and NoSQL databases.

• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Apache Beam, Apache NiFi).

• Excellence in programming languages (e.g., Python, R, and SQL).

• Experience with data visualization tools (Grafana, PowerBI, and Tableau).

• Ability to communicate complex data insights to a non-technical audience and to drive data-driven decision-making within the organization.

• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and driving projects to successful completion.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on finding innovative solutions to complex business challenges.

• Experience working with DevOps teams to get models into production.

• Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes / Git CI/CD.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud, is preferred.

Minimum Education:

• A Bachelor's degree in a field related to Data Science, such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Education:

• A Master's degree or Ph.D. in a field related to Data Science, such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering.
