Job Summary:
The BOSS AI Associate Data Engineer will support the Solutions Delivery team while working with a group of Data Scientists and Sr. Data Scientists to design comprehensive solutions. A vast range of technical skillsets will be utilized to complete various data engineering tasks, including data transformation, data ingestion, and operationalization of data sources, which are integral parts of our digital transformation solutions. The BOSS AI Associate Data Engineer will leverage BOSS AI’s revolutionary technology and resources, along with industry best practices to develop creative solutions to solve our customers’ problems and enhance their capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable data pipelines that support business requirements.
Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand the data needs of the organization and design data architecture that meet those needs.
Execute data transformation activities across a wide variety of systems, data modalities, and customers.
Develop and implement data governance standards, including data quality, data lineage, and data security.
Automate data pipeline processes and create monitoring and alerting systems to ensure data pipeline health.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and data quality issues.
Work with large, complex datasets and help improve the scalability and performance of the data pipelines.
Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the data pipeline and implement performance improvements.
Travel Requirements:
Travel required on an as needed basis.
Essential Qualifications
2+ years of experience in data engineering.
2+ years of experience in image/object recognition.
2+ years of experience with computer science fundamentals (e.g., object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms).
2+ years of experience in ElasticSearch or similar NoSQL database.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Proficient in machine learning, data visualization, and big data analytics.
Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in Professional Services and/or Corporate Employment.
4+ years of experience in data transformation and managing a variety of data types.
Proficient in Linux systems and operations.
Located locally to Nashville, TN.
Minimum Education:
A Bachelor's degree in a field related to Data Science, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
Preferred Education:
A Master’s degree in a field related to Data Science, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
