Blattner Technologies is searching for a Junior Project Manager with technology experience to join the team. As a Junior Project Manager, you will be a primary resource supporting the Senior Project Managers at Blattner Technologies. You will be responsible for creating project timelines, communicating with project stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. You will also identify project risks and issues and develop mitigation plans.
A candidate must have experience supporting project management processes, strategies, and teams to succeed in the Junior Project Manager position. The ideal candidate will hold professional certifications (PMP) with experience working for a technology company or technology experience. Blattner Technologies is in a rapid growth phase. For this reason, flexibility, analytical skills, and the ability to adjust tactical activities to align with evolving business strategies is a must.

In this role, your key duties will include the following:
Project Execution
Manages projects small/medium-sized projects of moderate complexity.
Responsible for on-time delivery and execution of critical Technology projects and initiatives to deliver business value.
Works with core project team (such as business partners, vendors, and technical team) to develop detailed, actionable project schedules. Assigns tasks to the team and develops detailed and accurate work schedules, project estimates, and resource plans.
Executes, monitors, and controls technical projects from original concept through final implementation.
Communicate accurate and timely project accomplishments and overall health to stakeholders via required measures and methods (such as status reports, metrics, checkpoints, portfolio reports, and scorecards).
Manages and monitors project budgets with a high focus on approved technical funding and technical cost containment. Ensures cost changes have accurate and timely approvals and follow corporate and department standards, policies, and procedures.
Reviews project deliverables, especially technical artifacts.
Manages technical vendor team and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
Ensures support areas are engaged in driving practical training and turnover of technical solutions.
Resource Planning:
Staff technical projects through initial resource planning and ongoing accurate labor forecasting. Ensures the right teams are engaged at the right time for the proper work over the project's life.
Ensures accurate and timely resource time charges to assigned projects.
Coordinates contingent labor procurement/selection as required for assigned projects.
Risk Management:
Ensures adherence to all government, corporate and department standards, policies and procedures in all technical artifacts, tasks, and decisions across the technical team.
Works to ensure all artifacts adhere to all standards, policies, and procedures.
Proactively manages project risks and risk mitigation plans.
Skills & Qualifications Needed
Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, a related field preferred or High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of Technology experience
PMP or similar professional certification is preferred but not required
Proven experience working on projects in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
2 years of Project Management experience
2 years of technology experience
