BOSS AI has an immediate need for a Business Development Consultant. The Business Development Consultant is a technical solutions seller who supports all phases of the sales cycle from the initial customer engagement, progressing through solutions and proposal development, and concluding with operations handoff and account startup.  Broadly, the Business Development Consultant:


  •           Develops relationships with Client CIO’s, CDOs, CxO, and Lines of Business Owners (HR, Marketing, Finance).
  •           Shapes Client AI/ML Vision and Strategy by delivering executive presentations on AI strategies for multiple vertical markets and use cases.
  • Owns development of an “Art Of The Possible” strategy for targeted clients. This involves:
    1. working with the client and BOSS sales team to confirm an understanding of the client’s digital transformation strategy and to identify any business requirements, challenges and/or opportunities that relate to executing on that strategy.
    2. leading discussions with clients to identify, shape & develop sales opportunities in support of the client’s stated strategy and requirements, with an emphasis on providing technical direction to ensure the appropriate application of BOSS AI’s capabilities and offerings to satisfy  those requirements.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and customers to develop customer-facing proposals for the the design, implementation, and delivery of Enterprise AI solutions.
  • Has direct linkage to Product Development and Marketing to shape BOSS’s market sensing.
  • Has direct relationship with BOSS’s key partners/vendors in various technology areas to facilitate the development of full, robust customized solutions. 
  • May provide post-sales support by working with account and delivery teams to validate that delivered solutions meet the customer’s  requirements, and to provide ongoing support to include upselling, service layering, and service development/optimization

 Key job requirements and skill sets

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build productive relationships at all levels of the client and supplier organizations
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
  • In-depth experience in digital transformation technologies such as cloud applications, data science, AI, distributed computing, cybersecurity, IoT
  • Experience supporting direct selling teams to exceed objectives and leading sales and account strategy
  • A strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability to understand key business and financial drivers in order to develop Return On Investment (ROI) models
  • Highly motivated self-starter, willing to take ownership and accountability for deliverables
  • Innovative and able to think creatively
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a plus
  • Requires travel up to 30%
  • The position requires a strong technical background in IS, IT, service provider industry
  • Strong attention to detail required ensuring effective planning, implementation and execution
