Security Compliance Analyst - Blattner Technologies

 

Location: Nashville, TN – Hybrid (3 days in office)

Job Summary:
Blattner Technologies is seeking a proactive and proficient Security Compliance Analyst to play a critical role in securing and maintaining AWS-centric cloud systems, MS 365 infrastructure, and product lines. This position is pivotal in driving the company’s compliance initiatives, including the strategizing and implementation of ISO 27001, ISO 42001, and SOC 2 certifications. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of industry-standard compliance frameworks and demonstrate a proactive approach to navigating the evolving security landscape.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Active Security Operations:

  • Vigilantly monitor security systems and alerts, swiftly analyzing, escalating, and tracking issues to resolution.
  • Implement and maintain security controls and tools, including SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Continuously assess the threat landscape to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Support the development, implementation, and enforcement of security-related policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory and business requirements.
  • Play a crucial role in the preparation, achievement, and maintenance of company governance and compliance solution.
  • Ensure that all security processes, projects, and product initiatives comply with both internal and external regulatory standards.

Incident Response & Investigation:

  • Participate in detailed investigations into potential security breaches or compliance violations, compiling comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare the organization for audits by maintaining thorough documentation and conducting regular compliance checks.

Education & Reporting:

  • Contribute to the creation and delivery of training programs designed to enhance security awareness and compliance knowledge across the organization.
  • Generate detailed compliance, security reports, and implementation plans for management and regulatory bodies, highlighting key findings and strategic recommendations.
  • Stay abreast of current world threats and actors to ensure the company is prepared to handle emerging threats.

Travel

  • Travel may include business meetings and customer visits as required.

 

Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in Information Security, with a focus on compliance, risk management, and security operations.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient working in various cloud providers (e.g., AWS cloud services, GCP, Azure) and MS 365 security infrastructures.
  • Extensive expertise in operating security and compliance tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanning, and endpoint security.
  • Proficient in multiple operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, MacOS).
  • In-depth knowledge of security and compliance principles (e.g., NIST, ISO, SOC frameworks).

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse, globally dispersed technical and management teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), etc.
  • Experience leading security or compliance-related projects, particularly in cloud environments.
  • Demonstrated success in working with cross-functional teams, including legal, IT, and operations, to implement security and compliance initiatives.
  • Familiarity with advanced threat detection methodologies and tools, including behavior analytics and machine learning-based detection.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and SQL is a plus for data analysis and automation tasks.

Work Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days in office

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation Range: $75,000 - $95,000 per year
