Blattner Technologies is seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Senior Business Consultant with a strong background in process re-engineering and data analytics. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of business process mapping, writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and designing workflows. Additionally, experience with database administration, big data analytics, and various database technologies is crucial. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to view business solutions holistically and integrate technology seamlessly into business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Re-engineering

  • Conduct comprehensive business process re-engineering at level 5 mapping.
  • Develop and write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various business processes.
  • Design and optimize workflows in collaboration with the service ticket team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze current business processes to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions.

Data Analytics and Database Design

  • Provide expertise in database design with a focus on big data, relational database systems, vector databases, SQL, and NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB
  • Utilize big data technologies to analyze and interpret large datasets, providing actionable insights for business decision-making.
  • Work with relational database systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
  • Implement and maintain vector databases for advanced data analysis and machine learning applications.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure data accuracy, security, and optimal performance of data solutions.
  • Integrate data analytics into business processes to drive data-driven decision-making.

Holistic Business Solutions

  • Approach business challenges from a holistic perspective, integrating individual products into comprehensive business solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure technology aligns with overall business objectives.
  • Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to support business transformation initiatives.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver tailored solutions that address those needs effectively.

Technical Leadership

  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve business processes and solutions.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior consultants and team members.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the technical skills and business acumen of the team.

Travel

  • Travel may include business meetings and customer engagements to understand their needs and provide tailored business solutions.

 

Required Skills

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in business consulting, process re-engineering, and data analytics.

Technical Skills

  • Extensive experience with business process mapping, SOP development, and workflow design.
  • Proficiency in database administration with a focus on relational databases, vector databases, SQL, NoSQL, and big data technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Familiarity with big data tools and platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
  • Knowledge of vector databases and their applications in advanced data analysis.

  • Proven experience working with a diverse, globally dispersed technical and management team.

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certification in relevant database technologies or business process management.
