The Senior Director, Education is responsible for developing and overseeing an education strategy that meets the current and future needs of NPA’s members. The position plays a pivotal role in maintaining high standards for the PACE model of care and fostering the professional growth of the PACE community. The senior director aligns the educational offerings of NPA with the overall strategic objectives of the organization. Taking an innovative approach, the senior director positions NPA as the leading source for PACE related professional development. In addition, the Senior Director is an ambassador to the PACE community to promote and increase member awareness of NPA educational programs.

Develops short- and long-term objectives, with corresponding annual work plans, to successfully execute the education strategy.

Provides a wide range of educational opportunities to cater to various types of learners.

Uses best practices and follows industry trends in adult learning to influence the design of educational offerings.

Uses data driven decision making to select content.

Oversees the administration of the learning management system (LMS) and manages the relationship with the LMS vendor.

Strategize workshops, seminars, and training modules focusing on advanced topics and emerging trends

Establish and maintain relationships and partnerships with internal and external education stakeholders.

Evaluate NPA’s education strategies and programs to optimize relevance, participation and financial sustainability.

Collaborates with the Meetings and Conferences Team on the selection of topics and speakers for NPA’s conferences.

Manages one staff position.

Requirements
Education

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent work experience and or training.
Experience

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Working Conditions
Flexible, fully remote work arrangement, including telework, offered; proximity to Washington, D.C. area preferred. Small, fast paced team environment with moderate noise levels. Normal sitting and standing activities for an office environment. Use of phones and computers for extended periods of time. Utilize office equipment and communication technologies for conference calls and teleconference meetings/webinars.
Compensation and Benefits
Full-time, exempt position with competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
