Automation and Control
Develop and implement a hardware control/monitoring system with an operator GUI that can be used to monitor and automate an additive manufacturing (3-D printing) system. The 3-D printing system is made up of mixers, pumps, valves, robotics, and instrumentation that all need to be programmed to be controlled through an automated system.
Electrical and electronic design to support technology development, manufacture and test
Design and build of test hardware, support GSE
PLC Programming of control and data acquisition systems
Automation, open/closed loop systems
development, flow-down and verification
Maintaining design records, models, trades and rationale
Contribute to design reviews
Assist in housekeeping operations in a manufacturing and research lab environment
Experience and Skill Requirements
3 + years' experience desired. X-Bow is interested in motivated self-starters with excellent communication and technical writing skills, proficient in MS Office and common control applications. Experience with G-code, LabView, Matlab, & Python. Experience with KRL Code (Kuka Robotics), Orange Edit, SolidWorks/Creo is a plus.
Trades Certificate, AS Degree or equivalent required, associated with programming applications preferred.
