Job Description

Labviva is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to support the Finance Team for our B2B Marketplace channel.

We are a Boston based Company, with a fixed hybrid work model.  Remote options will be considered.

 

Responsibilities

  • Receive, download and process Supplier Invoices to convert Marketplace customer purchase orders as billable charges for end-use by the Accounts Receivable Team.

  • Understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes (sales tax, etc.).

  • Understand the unique variances of our billable Customer accounts.

  • Research and resolve any billing discrepancies with Suppliers.

  • Interact as needed with our Order Support team as related to billing & invoicing.

  • Receive and process Supplier past due statements; reconcile and provide a response back to the Supplier with the status.

  • Other related tasks may be added as volume increases.

 

Job Qualifications

  • Current college student, or recent college graduate, in a finance-related field of study; or, sufficient work experience in a bookkeeping or accounting support role.

  • Proven understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.

  • Familiarity and experience working with documents such as purchase orders, credit memos, supplier bills, and customer invoices.

  • Proficient experience with QuickBooks Online/similar cloud accounting software and MS Office.

  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to interpret, calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.

  • Ability to manage time and tasks efficiently and effectively, and follow departmental processes and company policies.

  • Experience with CRM and/or issue tracking ticket-based systems a plus.

  • Familiarity with Ariba, Oracle, Jaggaer or other ERP systems a plus.

  • Experience in an e-marketplace, a multi-vendor/multi-customer, or similar setting a plus.
