Product Marketing Manager


Job Description


Labviva is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join our highly collaborative product team. In this role, you will work with cross functional teams to develop the positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation to enable marketing, sales and channel partners for new and existing products to maximize visibility for our customer base profitability. Working with cross-departmental teams, you will create the go to market strategy, co-managing the commercial launch process with counterparts in marketing and business development to drive customer interaction and conversion.

 

Responsibilities Include

 

  • Develop a deep understanding of the B2B procurement market, user personas and the challenges faced to effectively position and communicate how and why product features and functionality address and overcome those market problems for customers and prospects.
  • Work with Product, Business Development, Customer Success and Marketing teams to develop communication, pricing and promotion strategies based on understanding the market.

·       Collaborate with customers to develop bundles for the most frequently used workflows used within a buyer organization

  • Work closely with leadership to develop product launches and go-to-market strategy and roadmap.
  • Develop effective positioning/messaging for buyers and supplier prospects based on user personas and the challenges faced.
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of value proposition materials and collateral to communicate value of solutions to key audiences and personas (e.g., end users, buyers, customers).
  • Create and deliver market and competitive intelligence: keep abreast of competitive developments and industry trends; differentiate platforms in the market and provide a view of the landscape to internal teams.
  • Work closely with Product leadership to develop and deliver sales enablement tools for suppliers and ensure overall field readiness 
  • Partner with Business Development and Marketing teams to develop product messaging and lead generation content to drive results-driven campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications/Public Relations to ensure consistent and effective messaging.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to provide targeted product messaging and collateral for events and to plan and promote engaging webinars.

 

Job Qualifications

 

  • BS/BA in Marketing, Business, or Biotech/Life Sciences or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 plus years of experience in Product Marketing or related field
  • Demonstrated understanding of B2B SaaS pricing and packaging models
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Technical proficiency successfully partnering with multiple parts of the business in the build-out of products and services
  • Demonstrated ability to champion a feature/improvement from idea to release
  • Demonstrated ability to present technical subjects to a varied audience
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • B2B and SaaS industry experience a plus
  • Experience working in the Biotech/Life Sciences Industries a plus
