Job description:

Engagement Managers are responsible for managing client engagements and providing client service leadership. Work includes problem solving, leading a team of Associates and Analysts, developing content expertise, establishing trust-based executive relationships, and acting as a client advisor helping our clients to address their most critical business challenges. Engagement Managers are expected to mentor Associates and Analysts and to contribute to client development efforts.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage major client engagements
  • Lead day-to-day execution of projects
  • Advise and present to senior client executives 
  • Oversee the collection and preparation of research and analysis
  • Collaborate with and develop Associates and Analysts


Requirements:


  • 4 - 8 years of work experience, with at least 2 - 4 years at McKinsey, Bain, or BCG
  • Sector experience in financial services, private equity, and/or tech/media/telecom a plus
  • Experience in business development in consulting (e.g., creating proposals, problem solving on client needs)
  • Experience in developing and delivering client presentations/ communications
  • Superior problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to contribute across multiple functions of the team (e.g., high-level communication, deck design, analysis)
  • Outstanding track record of success in past professional and academic endeavors
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, JD, PhD) from a top-tier institution is preferred
