We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to make our software world class and easy-to-use for our clients.

You’ll report to our Director of Product Engineering to create both functional and appealing user interfaces that address our clients’ needs and help us grow our customer base.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software, wireframe tools, as well as developing CSS and HTML code. If you have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web applications, we’d love to see it!

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers

  • Clearly illustrate how sites will function and look like through UI mockups, prototypes, storyboards, process flows and sitemaps

  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders

  • Design reusable graphic user interface standards and elements, like menus, tabs and widgets

  • Work with engineers to ensure correct implementation of UI elements

  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)

  • Conduct adjustments based on user feedback

  • Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.

  • Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision).

  • Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

  • Ability to write, update and maintain CSS, HTML code. Some Javascript may also be required.

  • Experience in designing UI/UX for web applications highly desired.

  • Experience in designing UI/UX for manufacturing software and HMI’s desired but not critical.

  • Experience using Bootstrap in UI/UX designs desired but not critical.

  • Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
