Responsible for the leadership and coordination of a broad set of stakeholders to design, develop and launch best-in-class programs to maximize market access.
- Develop value proposition and AMCP dossier in coordination with medical affairs and market analytics. Design, hire and lead payer account team.
- Lead all aspects of design and implementation of hub services model to support patient access.
- Lead HCPCS and CPT coding and reimbursement pathways, and development education and communication materials to support launch of Part B drug with miscellaneous J-code. Lead efforts to obtain permanent J-code and convert from Cat III to Cat I CPT code.
- Develop PAP strategy, including co-pay and free drug programs to ensure access to all patients.
- Partner with legal, finance and supply chain leads to design and implement optimal distribution channel for retina and uveitis practices. Develop strategy for engaging ophthalmology group purchasing organizations (GPO’s).
- Lead research and represent market access stakeholders in development of pricing.
- Build and lead close relationships to monitor, represent the client, and become subject matter expert in, health policy updates, professional societies, CMS and patient advocacy groups.
- Design and build a field-based team of reimbursement managers to educate and appropriately support practice management staff in retina and uveitis practices.
- Partner closely with marketing, sales, medical affairs, legal, IT and finance to build and lead all access programs and materials.
- Partner with and drive multiple vendors toward project completion in a timely and cost-effective manner while ensuring high quality output.
- Build, maintain and operate within an quarterly and annual budgets.
- Comply with relevant federal and state-specific legislation and regulatory requirements.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree; Masters degree preferred
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology Market Access with a minimum of 8 years of team leadership experience
