The Clearside Senior Product Manager will contribute to the development of key aspects of U.S. commercialization plans, market preparation, and strategic brand planning of the product launch and lifecycle plans. The role will work cross functionally within the organization in executing deliverables. The Senior Product Manager will contribute to the development and implementation of key programs for market preparation and launch readiness, including:

  • Develop promotional launch strategy and tactical plan partnering with sales and market access to align on and pull through strategic objectives
  • Effectively translate clinical data and market research insights into promotional strategies, messaging and tactical planning
  • Develop sales force tactics including core detail aid, customer leave behinds, objection handler and reprints, etc.
  • Manage creative agency to execute market research and synthesize customer insights for development of product positioning, core messaging and launch concept to create launch campaign materials
  • Develop and deliver presentations to a range of internal stakeholders, including executive leadership team, and external audiences
  • Perform competitive and situational analysis to monitor market performance and understand trends to integrate into brand strategy and planning
  • Develop and manage marketing spend budget and reconciliation

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, or Science discipline
  • MBA or other related graduate-level degree is preferred

Experience

  • Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech sales and/or sales management is a plus
  • Experience working effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams is preferred
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of the US legal-regulatory environment affecting appropriate promotional activities
  • Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding financial and/or other quantitative targets, as well as qualitative goals, for larger-scale product marketing organizations
