Veuu is a FinTech company looking for intelligent and resourceful team members to join its operations department. We are looking for highly analytical candidates who are as skilled in the medical and healthcare sector, as they are focused on providing a variety of services related to healthcare payments and data insights. Medical data analysts are quantitative specialists who understand business needs and how to use data to achieve those needs. Their duties include organizing and managing large and varied data sets, analyzing medical data to optimize business operations, and communicating their findings using data visualization and detailed reports. 

 

Essential Responsibilities 

• • Compiling and organizing medical data for the purposes of building various models. 

• • Analyzing data to assist in delivering optimal operations working with data science teams, operations, and finance. 
• • Gathering and integrating data from disparate healthcare systems and help analyze it to provide insights, collaboration, and domain guidance for development of models 
• • Presenting and explaining information and suggesting improvements. 
• • Understanding data storage and data sharing methods, and their subsequent use to for optimization. 
• • Understanding healthcare business operations to include diagnosis, procedures, coding, and claims.  Utilizing different data sources for analyses. 
• • Converting data into usable information that is easy to understand. 
• • Developing reports and presentations. 

 

Qualifications/Requirements 

• • Graduate degree in medicine, healthcare administration, or related field. 
• • 10+ years as medical practitioner, preferably someone who has worked as a doctor, or professional healthcare provider  
• • Healthcare domain expertise necessary, with knowledge of healthcare systems, tools, and data lifecycles 
• • Technical knowledge and proficiency with standard data tools (SQL, Python, etc.) 
• • Experience with data visualization tools. 

• • Knowledge of data management applications. 
• • Proficiency in managing electronic medical records. 
• • Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills. 
• • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• • Good interpersonal skills.
