Position Overview

Valid8 Financial is seeking a Marketing Manager who will be primarily responsible for the strategy and execution of demand generation campaigns that drive qualified leads to Sales as well as account based marketing programs that drive engagement across multiple channels. As a Marketing Manager at Valid8 Financial, you will report to the EVP Marketing and work cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, and other members of the marketing team to plan and execute programs to reach and engage target accounts via content marketing, events, paid advertising, organic social, and email. You will design, plan, manage, and optimize integrated campaigns across multiple channels to generate pipeline revenue. 

 

Remote candidates will be considered, but preference will be given to candidates in the Boulder/Denver area who are willing and able to work in our office in Boulder 2-3 times per week.

Key Responsibilities

 

Account Based Marketing

  • Conduct secondary research to deeply understand our target segments, accounts, and personas involved in the buyer’s journey.

  • Collaborate with Sales to create target account plans, documenting the multichannel orchestration between marketing and sales designed to drive engagement with each target account.

  • Develop and manage account based advertising focused on driving awareness and engagement.

  • Collaborate with other marketing team members to manage account based events (eg, target account dinners) as part of an overall orchestration.

  • Monitor performance, and optimize each tactic, each channel, and each campaign, as needed.

 

Demand Generation & Brand Awareness Campaigns

  • Develop and execute on multichannel campaigns to drive leads to Sales and increase the market’s awareness of and interest in Valid8 Financial solutions.

  • Manage paid advertising campaigns focused on demand generation and brand awareness.

 

Marketing Operations

  • Manage list segmentation, lead nurtures, and other email marketing programs in Hubspot.

  • Manage our marketing contact database in Hubspot, exercising best practices for data cleansing on a regular basis.

  • Act as the liaison between Valid8 and our fractional Revenue Operations team.

  • Work collaboratively with our web developer to ensure all marketing programs are set up with appropriate tracking and reporting at the tactic, channel, and campaign level.

 

Measurement & Reporting

  • Monitor progress and report on results for marketing campaigns, channels and programs.

  • Develop and report via a consistent marketing dashboard with a focus on quarterly business reviews that share insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Manage and report on paid advertising budget monthly and/or as requested.

 

Other

  • We are an early stage, high growth startup and a brand new marketing team. We value team members who have flexible skills and who are willing and able to jump in and help in other areas of marketing, as needed.

 

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years in b2b marketing, preferably for b2b SaaS startups

  • Extensive experience in the development and execution of digital campaigns and hands-on execution of content marketing, email marketing, paid search and paid social 

  • Experience developing and managing account based marketing programs in close collaboration with Sales

  • Strong understanding of digital and account based marketing metrics

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions

  • Ability to track campaign performance and associated spend down to the most granular details while providing roll-up reporting to senior management

  • Expertise with Hubspot Marketing for batch email and nurture paths, email delivery, forms, landing pages, database segmentation, and management

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Willingness to go deep to understand and empathize with the target audiences

  • Collaborative, growth mindset

 

Desired but not required:

  • Proficiency with Hubspot Sales and/or Hubspot CRM
