Contingent upon award

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate vendor data architecture, supporting technology stacks, using analysis TTPs through publicly available information and proprietary information.
  • Write technical reports for stakeholders; document findings, risk analysis, and recommendations for remediation and/or mitigation measures.
  • Examine external-facing vendor infrastructure to determine if any foreign presence exists, including servers or services in foreign countries.
  • Function as a security consultant to provide security analysis and subsequent recommendations, strategies, and reports.
  • Participate in discussions, briefs and stakeholder engagements, as the technical subject matter expert for security and vulnerability research.
  • Conduct threat hunting and emulation to assess information systems for cyber resilience.
  • Participate in team discussions to develop and improve security roadmaps and strategies.
  • Administer compliance scans and assessing risk of vulnerability for various systems to identify misconfigurations in system implementation.
  • Continuously improve security assessment methodology and TTPs for implementation into routine products.
  • Meet all contractual timelines as prescribed by the customer.

 


Requirements: 

  • Bachelors & 4+ years of cyber security experience
  • Knowledge of Cyber Systems Architecture, Cyber Technology Research Development, Cyber Data Administration, Cyber Knowledge Management, Cyber Network Services, Cyber Systems Administration, Cyber Systems Analysis, and Cybersecurity Defense Infrastructure Support activities from the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Framework.
  • Knowledge of the maintenance, administration, engineering, architecture, development, patching, and upgrades of the various toolsets, devices, applications, and systems used to perform cybersecurity and cyberspace operations.
  • Skills to implement changes to cybersecurity and/or cyberspace operational systems, software, appliances, devices, etc.
  • Implement system configuration and monitoring changes to increase effectiveness or efficiencies in the systems capabilities regarding monitoring and implementing logical access controls to enforce policy.
  • Support cybersecurity and/or cyberspace operations metrics development, maintenance, and reporting.
  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug cybersecurity and/or cyberspace operations application software using secure coding practices.
  • Provide specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements, facility requirements, data storage, backup, monitoring, operating systems, directory services, identity management, access management, and automation.
  • Ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to prioritize various customers’ needs and meet specific Standard Levels of Agreement (SLA)s.
  • Must be a United States citizen and able to obtain Top-Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • Work location: Position offers a hybrid work environment with location based in or near Ft. Belvoir, VA, or Tampa, FL.
  • Work hours: 7am to 4pm (with the ability to flex).
