Job Description

 

  • Evaluate vendor data architectures, assess potential system vulnerabilities, and perform investigative analysis using techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTPs) that a user could potentially encounter from an adversary.
  • Coordinate vendor engagements to discuss their security posture, current protocols, processes, and mitigation efforts.
  • Apply both automated and manual investigation techniques to further research a vendor’s security footprint and validate preliminary findings or expectations.
  • Examine external-facing vendor infrastructure to determine if any foreign presence exists, including servers or services in foreign countries.
  • Prepare customized security surveys for commercial entities based on the specific subject of investigation (vendor, platform, tool, data collected).
  • Write technical reports for stakeholders, document vulnerability findings, risk analysis, and recommendations for the customer.
  • Function as a security consultant to provide security analysis and subsequent recommendations, strategies, and reports.
  • Conduct threat hunting and emulation to assess information systems for cyber resilience.
  • Identify, develop, and deploy custom threat detection and data analytics solutions to monitor systems.
  • Implement compliance scans and assess the security of various systems to identify misconfigurations in system implementation, vulnerability assessments, and provide security analysis and subsequent recommendations, strategies, and reports.
  • Participate in discussions, briefs, and stakeholder engagements as the technical subject matter expert for security and vulnerability research.
  • Meet all contractual timelines as prescribed by the customer.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Cybersecurity professional with 3+ years of demonstrated security experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in conducting vulnerability investigations and report writing
  • Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Cybersecurity or related field.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, security, operating systems security, firewalls, database infrastructure, scripting, other network technologies and tools.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be a United States citizen with Active DoD Top Secret level security clearance.
  • Work location is in Tampa, FL
  • Work hours: 8am to 5pm Monday – Friday
