Job Description:

  • Coordinates the organization's daily logistical and supply chain operations to meet customer requirements for delivery and accuracy of RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations) and shipments, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution.
  • Reviews shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, Customer Service requirements, and other records to determine priorities and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules.
  • Organizes warehousing for goods.
  • Plans and schedules inbound and outbound shipments to internal or external customers based on needs.
  • Reviews inventory to ensure that product adjustments are properly applied.
  • Liaises between customers, freight carriers, and the Shipping Department; and ensures communication with suppliers, retailers, customers, and management is used effectively to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.
  • Investigates and resolves logistics issues to ensure on-time delivery of goods to customers.
  • Controls costs by evaluating shipments, consolidating loads, and selecting the most cost-efficient method of shipment. 

 

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or related experience.
  • Must be a United States citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance with the US Government.
  • Experience customer service experience and support recognition as well and demonstrate trustworthiness and responsible behavior.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite Tools
  • Project management experience
  • Experience and ability to effectively use expense reporting tools.
  • Previous operations and logistics experience
  • Effective communicator; detailed, team player with experience in handling sensitive and confidential personal & business matters with discretion
  • Service minded and understand the complexities of partnership to support various verticals of the organization
  • Must be able, at times, to bend, move, lift heavy items by hand and with the use of proper tools.
  • Must be able to obtain a HAZMAT certification within 1 week of hire.
  • Must be able to obtain forklift certification within two weeks of hire. This includes completing a formal training program, passing a practical hands-on evaluation, and meeting all OSHA compliance requirements.

  • Work hours: 7am to 4pm EST Monday-Friday, availability to adjust hours to accommodate customer needs.
