General Maintenance Worker

Job Description:

Conducts and operates grounds keeping duties with equipment to include: tractors with mowers, brush cutters, and other types of grounds keeping equipment.
Monitor power plant machinery and systems.
Inspect generator equipment/system/facility and monitor equipment operation to ensure uninterrupted power to transmitters and associated ancillary equipment.
Maintains records of assigned tasks and inspections.
Perform other duties as the Transmitter Supervisor of Site Manager directs.

Required Skills:

Ability to:

Perform painting as required
Corrosion removal and treatment
Use chemical applications for grounds keeping.
Maintain records of assigned tasks and inspections
Operate assigned powered equipment in a safe manner
Work limited overtime as needed
Operate power generation emergency generators both manually and automatically
Perform duties as the Transmitter Supervisor of Site
Manage direct reports

Required Experience:

Twelve (12) months experience with grounds keeping duties. Understands the SCADA control system and ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems is also recommended.
