Responsibilities
- Evaluate the functionalities and features of existing and emerging software capabilities, providing insights into strengths and areas for improvement.
- Evaluate data sources for accuracy and relevance, ensuring high-quality data ingest for analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with customer analysts to identify established workflows and correlate software capabilities to meet their needs.
- Develop visually compelling and insightful Power BI dashboards to present key metrics and trends.
- Clean and preprocess raw usage log data to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Identify training gaps with software capabilities and perform instruction in order to mitigate the issue.
- Create documentation supporting assessment deliverables.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging software capabilities, providing recommendations for potential procurement.
- Regularly review and reassess software capabilities to ensure alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.
- Support inter-team collaboration to ensure open communication.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Statistics strongly desired. Equivalent professional experience considered.
- 1-3 years of experience supporting intelligence analysis activities, open source/Publicly Available Information (PIA) related data mining applications including data quality software and processes.
- Ability to learn complex software tools rapidly to assess their capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address data integrity issues effectively
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Effective written and oral communication.
- Efficient time management and demonstrated organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite of tools including Power BI.
- Proficient with data-cleansing procedures.
- Proficient public speaking/briefings skills to senior individuals.
- Work location is: Onsite – Tampa, FL
- Work hours: 8am to 5pm Monday – Friday
- Duration: Temporary, with Potential for long term
- Clearance – Must have Active Secret with ability to obtain SCI.
