We are looking for a software engineer who loves to code and is not afraid of challenging, open-ended problems. You will have opportunities to work on front-end modern web UI, cloud infrastructure, back-end implementation, and integration with our machine learning pipeline. You will be collaborating with a highly capable team of software engineers, machine learning engineers, and embedded engineers. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the growth of a leading product in the burgeoning tinyML market.
Responsibilities:
- Working with Qeexo's machine learning team and software team to support, enhance, and improve the Qeexo AutoML platform (Docker-based web application running on AWS)
- Improve our front-end with new features and adoption of best practices
- Creating new code, improving existing code, and participating in code review
- Helping the machine learning team as needed in other various ways, including with research projects, product commercialization, and demo development
- Assist with monitoring product status and releases to QA, production, and internal environments
Required skills:
- BS in Computer Science or similar technical degree
- Experience with Javascript, HTML, CSS, including concepts such as layout and cross browser compatibility
- Expertise with modern javascript best practices and frameworks (React, etc.)
- Experience with AWS services, Docker, and integration
- US work authorization required
Bonus:
- Python, C, and Java experience
- 2+ years profession experience with javascript software development
- Proficiency with Linux or another Unix-based operating system and basic shell scripting
- Familiarity / interest in machine learning
- An experimental mindset
