Senior Automation Test Engineer
Position Summary
We are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer who will serve as
the primary dedicated resource for automation testing across end-toend systems involving web, mobile, APIs, cloud services, and hardware
integration.
This role will collaborate closely with other QA engineers and crossfunctional global teams to improve automation coverage, system
scalability, reliability, and overall product quality.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks
for web, mobile, API, and end-to-end system testing
• Develop automated test suites for integrated systems involving
hardware devices, cloud platforms, and backend services with any
programming languages like Java, Python, or others.
• Develop reusable test utilities that enable efficient test script
creation.
• Design and execute tests across UI, sensor-driven workflows to
validate real-world system behavior and software systems with
hardware-in-the-loop(HIL)
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable
continuous testing, end-to-end validation, and performance
validation
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automation and
performance testing into deployment workflows
• Review requirements, architectures, and technical designs to
identify quality risks early in the development lifecycle
• Support production validation and release readiness activities
• Contribute to test strategies, quality standards, and automation
best practices
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,
Engineering, or related field
• 6+ Years of hands-on experience in automation testing
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks for web and
mobile applications
• Strong experience testing APIs and distributed systems
• Experience with Robot Framework, Selenium, and Appium, or
similar
• Experience with SQL for database testing.
• Strong understanding of system integration testing and
troubleshooting methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced cross-functional
environments
• Ability to communicate effectively in English in a global engineering
environment, including technical discussions, collaboration, and
reporting
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter,
LoadRunner, or similar
• Experience testing end-to-end systems involving hardware
integration, IoT devices, or embedded systems
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure
• Familiarity with Linux environments, Docker, and containerized
deployments
• Knowledge of networking concepts, device communication
protocols, and hardware/software interactions
• Experience with AI/ML-enabled systems
• Experience validating production deployments and OTA update
workflows
