Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Project Manager with a strong background in system design to oversee the development of our industrial IoT products. This role requires expertise in managing the full product development lifecycle, including EVT (Engineering Validation Testing), DVT (Design Validation Testing), and PVT (Production Validation Testing), as well as experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) and large-scale manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, goal-oriented, and possess excellent scheduling abilities, bring a depth of experience in industrial IoT product development, and implementation preferred. Proficiency in Chinese and English is required, and knowledge of Japanese is a strong plus. Routine international travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Management: Lead cross-functional teams through the end-to-end product development cycle, from concept and design to full-scale production. Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables to meet demanding project goals. • NPI Process Execution: Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts, coordinating with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless and efficient product launches. • Validation Testing Oversight: Manage EVT, DVT, and PVT phases to validate product quality, reliability, and functionality. Identify and resolve any technical issues in collaboration with the engineering team. • Manufacturing Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal and external manufacturing partners to oversee large-scale production activities. Ensure that product quality, yield, and timelines align with project objectives. • Schedule & Budget Control: Track and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources. Ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget, proactively managing risks and bottlenecks. • Communication & Reporting: Act as the primary point of contact, providing clear and timely updates to stakeholders, including executive management. Create and deliver project status reports, highlighting key achievements and potential issues.  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with design, hardware, and software engineering teams, as well as quality assurance and supply chain, to ensure all aspects of the project align with the product’s requirements and goals. • Goal-Driven & Results-Oriented: Maintain a high-performance mindset, focused on achieving project deliverables and continuously improving project efficiency and team effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or PMP certification is a plus.

• Experience: 8+ years in project management with a focus on industrial IoT or hardware product development, including at least 5 years managing complex system design program. • Product Development Lifecycle Expertise: Extensive experience managing EVT, DVT, and PVT processes, with hands-on knowledge of the technical requirements at each stage. • NPI & Manufacturing Experience: Proven track record in NPI and in managing largescale manufacturing, with an understanding of quality requirements and production scaling.

• Language Skills: Fluency in Chinese and English is essential; Japanese proficiency is a strong plus.

• Technical & Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana) is required. • Goal-Oriented & Schedule-Sensitive: Capable of driving results in a fast-paced environment, with an emphasis on meeting demanding project goals and schedules.
