The Lede Company human resources team is seeking a skilled and motivated Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our recruitment efforts placing PR, communications & social impact professionals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-volume, fast-paced environments and experience within agency settings. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify top talent and build strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract, source, and place public relations and communication professionals at all levels.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs and define job requirements, ensuring a clear alignment with company and team goals.

  • Manage the full recruitment life cycle, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation.

  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including cold outreach, social media, job boards, industry-specific platforms, to build a robust talent pipeline.

  • Conduct interviews and assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit to ensure alignment with the company’s values and mission.

  • Maintain and leverage a database of candidates, ensuring timely communication and follow-up throughout the hiring process.

  • Analyze recruitment metrics and trends to continually improve the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts.

  • Stay current with industry trends and market insights to inform recruitment strategies and enhance employer branding.

  • Build and nurture relationships with external partners, including universities, industry associations, and recruitment agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a strong focus on public relations and communications roles.

  • Proven experience in high-volume recruitment and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Background in agency settings is highly preferred

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders

  • Strong analytical skills to assess and improve recruitment processes and metrics

  • Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach
