POSITION: Social Impact Intern

LOCATION: New York, NY

JOB TYPE: Part-time / Temp 

 

The Lede Company is seeking an Intern to join the Social Impact team for the Spring school semester 2023. The ideal candidate must have strong communication and writing skills and must be comfortable dealing with all levels of staff and clients. Interest in CSR/Social Impact work and previous internship experience preferred.

 

This is a paid internship opportunity, and we ask that candidates are able to commit 12-20 hours per week. The internship will take place in person in our New York office in Noho.

 

You will gain experience through the following tasks:

·       Manage administrative duties including developing and managing workplans, conducting research to inform strategies and supporting the Social Impact team on all project, team and client coordination

·       Manage team databases and team CRM, department-wide communications 

·       Field informational calls and take detailed notes during client calls

·       Track social impact, ESG, SDG and related news and updates regularly, provide digital breaks daily to the team

·       Assist with writing and editing internal and external materials including program designs, project decks, press releases and proposals

·       Conduct research to support project planning and strategy

·       Support internal social impact and social purpose efforts

Essential skills and requirements:

·       Work toward Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Communications, International Development, Economics, Sustainability, or related field 

·       Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communications skills

·       Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously

·       Strong writing, proofreading and researching skills

·       Interest in the social impact sector 

·       Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

·       Proficiency with the Adobe Suite, Salesforce, a plus
