POSITION: Accounting Assistant
LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA
JOB TYPE: Part Time


The Lede Company is a dynamic, fast-growing, New York & Los Angeles based Talent, Communications/PR, and Corporate Consulting firm. The firm specializes in communications strategies across a broad spectrum of industries. We are seeking a part time Accounting Assistant to join our Operations team. The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail and solid knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel. Candidate must have excellent organizational skills and be able to juggle multiple assignments and deadlines and adapt to a frequently-changing environment. The Accounting Assistant will report to the Accounting Supervisor.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform basic office tasks such as filing, data entry, answering phones, handling mail etc.
• Handle communication with clients and vendors
• Process transactions, issue checks, update ledgers & budgets etc.
• Reconcile credit cards and merchants & resolve discrepancies
• Enter financial transactions into internal databases
• Assist with audits, fact checks and resolving discrepancies
• Other accounting and administrative duties as needed


QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field 
• QuickBooks Desktop experience preferred
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office - particularly Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong time management & verbal and written communication skills
• Takes initiative and is resourceful
• Excellent analytical skills
• Familiar with basic accounting principles
• Professional manner
• Ability to multitask & remain motivated and positive
• Working knowledge of Expensify helpful
