POSITION: Brand Intern


JOB TYPE: Part-time / Temp (Fall school semester)

The Lede Company is seeking a Brand Intern to join the Fashion / Brand team for the Fall school semester 2022. The ideal candidate must have strong communication and writing skills and must be comfortable dealing with all levels of staff and clients. Previous PR/marketing internships preferred.

This is a paid internship opportunity, and we ask that candidates are able to commit 12-20 hours per week. The internship will take place in person in our New York office in Noho.

You will gain experience through the following tasks:

·       Press

o   Gather and record press and social credits via Discover and Google Alerts for current clients

o   Compile all press credits from internal databases for reporting

o   Help maintain up-to-date media lists

o   Assisting the team in research and ad hoc administrative tasks

·       Sample Trafficking

o   Maintain a neat and orderly sample area with regular inventory procedures

o   Record all send-outs and returns

o   Pack all samples being sent for sample trafficking purposes

o   Receive and unpack all sample returns (garment bags, shipments)

o   Create shipping labels for samples being shipped (both internationally and domestically)

·       Brand partnerships and gifting

o   Participate in seeding initiatives via target identification, physical execution, and reporting

o   Assist with identification of target brand partners


Essential Skills & Requirements

·      Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Google Drive essential.

·      Knowledge of Fashion GPS preferred.

·      Ability to take initiative and must have the confidence to learn in a fast-paced environment.

·      Must be reliable with excellent organizational skills and very strong attention to detail.

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·      Knowledge of Cision and/or MuckRack would be an advantage.
