POSITION: Social Impact Assistant

BACKGROUND
The Lede Company is a full-service strategy, communications and social impact consulting firm, specializing in corporate, entertainment and nonprofit sectors. We are looking for a Social Impact Assistant to join our growing Social Impact team in New York. We are seeking enthusiastic candidates who can work in a creative, fast-paced environment, are highly-organized, driven, and have strong communication and writing skills and who are passionate about social impact.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Administrative duties including developing and managing workplans, conducting research to inform strategies and supporting the Social Impact team on all project, team and client coordination
• Manage team databases and team CRM, department-wide communications
• Organizational support systems development and management
• Coordinating meetings and schedules on behalf of leadership as well as expense reports, travel etc.
• Field informational calls and take detailed notes during regularly scheduled client calls
• Track social impact, ESG, SDG and related news and updates regularly, provide digital breaks daily to the team
• Assist with writing and editing internal and external materials including program designs, project decks, press releases and proposals
• Conduct research to support project planning and strategy
• Process client or partner requests in a timely manner
• Support internal social impact and social purpose efforts

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Communications, International Development, Economics, Sustainability, or related field. 
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Creative, driven, highly organized, detail oriented
• Exceptional interpersonal, networking, organizational, verbal, and written communications skills
• Proactive and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Self-starters with the ability to multi-task and a desire to learn
• Reliable: meets deadlines, prioritizes well, and has a high sense of urgency
• Strong writing, proofreading and researching skills
• Professional, confident and mature demeanor
• Strong interest of the social impact sector
• Proficiency with the Adobe Suite, Salesforce, a plus
