POSITION: Creative Copywriter
LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY

The Lede Company, a full-service public relations firm specializing in talent publicity, content publicity, strategic communications and brand PR, is looking for a Creative Copywriter to join the team in either our Los Angeles or New York office. The Creative Copywriter will write and edit copy for corporate clients, executives and high-profile individuals, including awards submissions, social media copy, new business proposals, press releases, media pitches, and bios. The Creative Copywriter will work closely with our internal department teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging.

We are seeking enthusiastic candidates who can work in a fast-paced environment, write quickly and well and manage multiple projects simultaneously

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Write for a diverse range of clients and projects, in a variety of and voices and for a variety of media
• Work closely with clients and internal teams throughout all stages of the creative process to outline, draft, revise, and deliver high-quality copy
• Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times
• Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and client voice for consistency in messaging
• Research and understand client needs and target audiences
• Achieve exceptional outcomes for clients with evolving priorities
• Stay on top of trends through industry monitoring and outside resources

QUALIFICATIONS
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Track record writing editorial content for publication
• Excellent communicator, both written and spoken
• Impeccable attention to detail and highly organized
• Ability to think strategically and conceptualize creatively
• Ability to work cross-functionally and with a fast-paced team
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• A passion for media. You get your news from a wide range of sources and follow broader media trends.
• A strong understanding of the entertainment industry.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Google Docs and Google Slides.
