We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support key accounting operations and international financial processes. This role will be responsible for general ledger management, month-end close activities, payroll coordination, intercompany reconciliations, and audit support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Lead and support month-end and year-end close activities
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including preparation of journal entries and accruals
  • Process biweekly hourly payroll
  • Calculate and process bi-weekly commission payments and ensure proper recording in payroll and accounting systems
  • Coordinate UK payroll processing, including approving payroll and transferring funds to the external payroll provider
  • Process UK vendor and operational payments through HSBC banking platform
  • Lead the UK month-end close process, including accruals, commissions, and intercompany transactions
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations between U.S. and foreign entities
  • Record deferred invoices and related accounting entries as applicable
  • Support internal and external audits, including leading the UK audit process by preparing schedules and gathering documentation
  • Assist with variance analysis, financial reporting, and process improvements
  • Maintain compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and payroll vendors
  • Support accounting team, as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems, including QuickBooks Desktop and NetSuite
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience working with international entities or intercompany accounting preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA or CPA candidate
  • Experience supporting international payroll or multi-entity accounting
  • Experience working with external auditors
