The Lede Company is looking for an Account Executive within our Events division who will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of events that align with company and client objectives. We’re looking for someone who is sharp and detail-obsessed to join our growing Events PR team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments and has a passion for executing both large-scale and intimate industry events. You’ll play a key role in managing red carpets, working with high-profile celebrities and cultural leaders, and delivering seamless guest experiences from invite to arrival.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Support Red carpet management for large- and small-scale events including galas, premieres, panels, and private dinners. Work with the team to develop overall strategy, media relations, and day of logistic
- Support in executing the PR strategy for high-impact events featuring celebrities, influencers, and culturally relevant personalities.
- Write, proof and edit a variety of PR materials, including press releases, media alerts, talking points, additional materials as needed
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to manage guest lists, curate targeted invitee selections, and track RSVPs for various industry events, ensuring seamless execution and guest experience
- Provide on-site coordination for red carpets and events including talent handling, press credentialing, photo management, distributing press releases and more.
- Develop and maintain relationships with talent, PR teams, agencies, and event producers to facilitate smooth event operations.
- Draft invite copy and send event invitations, manage follow-ups, and ensure guest communications are polished and on-brand.
- Coordinate directly with external publicists, managers, and executives to anticipate and fulfill guest needs.
- Maintain and update databases, RSVP platforms, and master tracking documents with accuracy.
- Juggle multiple projects and timelines with efficiency and clear communication.
- Thrive in high-pressure environments, troubleshooting issues and ensuring top-tier guest experiences.
- Contribute to monthly, project and/or event reporting and recaps across all clients
- Help oversee assistants including reviewing client agendas, recap reports and clips
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, while also managing daily client tasks.
- Grow and maintain media relationships across various outlets
- Work alongside partner teams within the agency as well as client partner agencies
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, event management, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time-sensitive projects, juggle multiple priorities, work independently, and keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, media, and team members.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
