Position Purpose


Ensure the development and conducting of the technical training for the Vet Channel, Retail and Breeder Channel team members for North America and organizational support in the management of International, National and Local events dedicated to Vet Channel development (with a focus on defining the content and activities) Presenting the content in commercial/scientific lectures.


Requirements


·         Doctorate of Veterinarian Medicine (DVM)…strong preference towards small animals with focus on nutrition


·         Flexible to heavy travel and frequent overnight stays away from home


·         Excellent public speaking skills and experience


·         Budget and project management


·         3 years training and speaking experience to small and large groups of up to 200 or more.


·         Valid Driver’s License and good driving record


 


Key Responsibilities


·         Organizes the scientific, strategic and operational preparation of the members of the Vet Channel team for North America.


·         Ensures monthly execution of interactive on-line training and training for new employees, as well as the organization of life trainings for Farmina entities, distributors and others according to the needs with a focus on the Vet Life brand. 


·         Ensures support in training and associated campaigns when launching new products.


·         Organization and management of meetings related to product launches with the VET Channel Manager, in close collaboration with the Marketing Team.


·         Support and coordination of academic speakers and engagements


·         Provides timely support to Vet Managers and Vet reps in the North America in case of questions on the development of the local Vet Strategy


·         Collects information about market trends from the field and conferences and develops action plans, reporting directly to the Vet Channel Sales Manager.


·         Supports monitoring of the progress of the Vet Channel strategy towards identified KPIs.


·         Proactively ensures feedback and input to marketing pertaining to the management and development of marketing materials dedicated to the Vet Channel strategy


 


 


 


 


 


·         Helps developing content for new materials for different types of training for different audiences (presentations, scientific lectures and brochures) with a close collaboration with content owners.


·         Ensures support to the Vet Channel Sales Manager in the budget development processes to support Vet Channel Strategy


·         Proactively follows and reports any good practices and observations which might contribute to the company.


·         Respond to technical inquiries from internal and external customers in a timely manner, keeping in mind deadlines and procedures.

·         Bring credibility to the organization; translate science through “storytelling” by generating data that supports evidence-based medicine and through integrity and behavior.


·         Review sales materials for technical/scientific accuracy, medical appropriateness, and utility to field sales force.
