Who We Seek
Hispanic Federation seeks a Data Manager to support the organization with managing its programmatic data, assessing program efficacy, and identifying trends to maximize our community impact. The Data Manager will develop systems and data management strategies for Hispanic Federation’s programming. Though HF currently implements its own manners of data management and tracking, the Data Manager will lead an effort to provide uniformity across programs and departments to ensure easy assessment and analysis.
The successful candidate will have a background in statistics and analytics and experience working with nonprofit organizations in program evaluations. The position is a hybrid role and will require onsite attendance to the HF Headquarters.

Reports to: Senior Director for Data Integration
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Create, revise, and propose data management policies and strategies; support implementation under the direction of the Senior Director.
- Analyze current and historical data and produce methodology for data collection moving forward, identify trends in previous data to create more rigorous programming.
- Prepare best practices based on program goals, available data, and methods for securing data.
- Extract pertinent data and build detailed reports for HF Leadership, noting any quantifiable impact and changes.
- Oversee data integrity in conjunction with the Senior Director; support program staff in their work to ensure programs are properly tracked and analyzed.
- Manage data audits to ensure high data integrity.
- Support programs as needed and requested.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, or information systems and two (2) years of experience with data management is strongly preferred.
- Thorough and proven understanding of data management and administrative policies.
- Proficient at digesting, understanding, and analyzing large amounts of data and producing digestible reports, charts, and graphs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
- Strong attention to detail and an bility to complete multiple tasks with multiple deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a flexible and collaborative spirit.
- Strong understanding of Latino and social justice issues and a commitment to Hispanic Federation's mission and core values.
- Experience with grants management and contracting is an asset
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is an asset.
Benefits and Salary
The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 and is commensurate with experience. Compensation comes with a robust benefits package with a fully subsidized medical, dental, vision insurance after 2 months, 403(B) retirement plans with a company match after 6 months, and access to flexible spending and pre-tax commuter benefits.
First year employees of the Hispanic Federation receive a PTO package with 15 days designated for vacation, 4 Personal Days, and 8 Sick Days annually.
