Association Analytics (A2), the market leader in data analytic solutions for associations is seeking a highly motivated Controller to join our growing team. The Controller will oversee all accounting and finance functions and lead a team to provide excellent analysis and reporting that drives business success. You will succeed in this position if you can plan/direct all accounting functions, consolidate financial data, evaluate systems/controls, and be an effective member of the leadership team.  

 

Accounting Responsibilities   

  • Direct accounting department activities including Billing & Collections, Accounts Payable, Payroll 

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for executive and leadership teams   

  • Create annual budgets and forecasts, closely monitor performance 

  • Implement new accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency 

  • Ensure timely and accurate regulatory filings and legal/tax compliance 

  • Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to drive growth   

HR Responsibilities 

  • Partner with hiring managers to recruit and lead talent acquisition for all roles 

  • Onboard new hires 

  • Support training/development 

  • Manage performance management processes 

  • Partner with PEO on setup and management of company policies 

Requirements 

  • CPA credential  

  • 5+ years accounting leadership experience 

  • Excellence in major accounting platforms/software  (primarily Quickbooks) 

  • Strong analytical and communication skills 

  • High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines   

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field   

Desired 

  • Experience in high growth software industry  

  • Familiarity with both SAAS and Services business models 

  • Proven success managing high performing Accounting functions 

  • Creative problem-solver who can generate innovative ideas and challenge status quo 

  • Integrity, reliability and leadership are valued
