We're officially on the search for a Quality Control Associate to join our Chicago-based team. The QC Associate will be responsible for managing the Quality Documentation System, preparing quality records, and collecting, inspecting, and testing raw materials and finished products to ensure food safety. This role will work cross functionally with the Operations team to create a culture of safety, quality excellence, and compliance.
The Deets:
- Monitor and send products for testing to assure quality is being controlled
- Enforce GHOST product and ingredient standards, process specifications, and formula compliance
- Review and approve product COA's
- Investigate and close out product complaints
- Track, report, and review agreed upon KPI’s
- Review and update Formula Data Sheets
- Review GMP Audits
The Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field required
- Must have work or internship experience in food or beverage quality
- Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Office Suite
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong time management skills and a sense of urgency in task execution
- Ability to work independently with little oversight concerning routine tasks
