Android Developer (Contract or Perm)
Parler is seeking an experienced Android developer to join our team. We’re about to overhaul our Android app in its entirety and looking for someone to help build a best-in-class native application. You will be part of a growing software engineering team with members of all levels of experience, giving you an opportunity to share your knowledge and experience while contributing to a worthwhile project. Parler is an early-stage start-up so we’re looking for someone that is used to start-up conditions and all of the resourcefulness and creativity it requires.

Requirements:
- 6+ years of Android Development
- Expert level Java or Kotlin experience
- Advanced knowledge in design, development and implementation in the Android software platform and relevant SDKs
- Deep understanding of Dependency Injection
- Expert knowledge of HTTP and API consumption
- 2+ years’ Experience with Unit Testing
- Excellent understanding of Clean Architecture and design patterns with the ability to apply them successfully to real-life problems
- Excellent experience working with Co-Routines for asynchronous operations
- 2+years’ experience with Architectural design patterns such as MVVM or MVP
- Intermediate knowledge of Android’s architectural components
Bonus:
- 2+ years’ experience building multi-module architectures
- 2+years’ experience with Audio/Video applications for Android
- Intermediate knowledge of Continuous Integration
