Influencer Account Manager
Parler is seeking an Influencer Account Manager to join our growing marketing team. This job requires the unique ability to manage and grow a portfolio of social media celebrities, personalities, VIPs, and Influencers. Hunting will be just as important as farming and cultivation. You'll need to have a business development mindset and an aggressive, organized approach to building a solid portfolio. The right person will be able to approach and secure influential personalities who will lead content creation on our social media platform.
We’re looking for a self-starter who understands the social media landscape and the important role well-known creators, activists, and personalities play in the retention process.
The role:
- Manage and own all external relationships with social media celebrities, personalities, VIPs, and Influencers.
- Create business development strategies that build relationships, grow verticals, and help you network towards the “next big thing”
- Research topics, news, relevant experts, and similar brands to help create highly unique messaging.
- Drive all relationships with Talent Agencies
- Work closely with teammates to prioritize and strategize campaigns.
- Contribute to the development and execution of influencer marketing campaigns.
- Assist existing VIPs by ensuring they have the tools they need for success (including promotional tools and strategies)
- Work with noteworthy personalities agencies and agents, and using resources to assist with outreach
- Professionally represent Parler and its offerings to global influencers.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience working with named people, C-suite executives, or similar high-profile individuals. (securing noteworthy talent and ambassadors for a brand, preferably in the social media market, is a plus).
- Negotiation skills!
- Ability to build out a business strategy before executing (ready, fire, aim is not our way…but you MUST be able to move very quickly from plan to execution phase)
- Knowledge of the social media marketing industry.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Proven track record of success
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills via phone, video conference and in-person.
- Networking aptitude.
- Media relations background a plus
- Nashville preferred, open to remote
