Parler is currently seeking an ambitious, organized technologist to help run, organize and secure our hardware and systems infrastructure. This is a crucial role in a high growth period for Parler, a fast-paced start-up. You will be responsible for creating the framework and associated processes to scale the company long term. You'll manage a full cycle of crucial deliverables, from onboarding of new employees to working with engineering facilitating a secure development environment for employees. What You’ll Do
● Provision/configure and maintain laptops and other needed equipment for employees
● Implement and train in various areas such as software and systems, to employees with varying technical proficiencies
● Assist in outlining and implementing an IT onboarding process for new employee orientation, to ensure a smooth transition
● Setup responsibility for new office network and associated hardware
● Function as the technical expert for troubleshooting: password resets, hardware issues, ordering equipment, onsite network, and other needed areas
● Responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of all computer systems and some data security systems
● Create an asset tagging system to ensure proper tracking of all inventory
● Maintain and make recommendations for systems and software
● Create a scalable company wide data/document repository
● Create system installs and upgrades
● Oversee data storage and retrieval systems, by creating the associated processes and utilizing effective backup and data retrieval systems
What We’d Like To See
● 2-5 years’ experience as either a IT administration specialist or an apprenticeship in such a role
● Expert experience level with; Microsoft Suite, SSO solutions, email security, data backup, and ticketing systems
● Previous administration of an IT onboarding program for at least 2 years
● Proficiency with technical troubleshooting as well as software, tool and overall technology evaluation.
● The ability and desire to grow technically and assist others in doing so
